As we age, our risk of developing heart disease, high cholesterol levels, weak joints and muscles, and host of other medical condition goes up. Most of the people who become ill feel frustrated and have feelings of despair. Many of these people may have said at one point in their lives something along the lines of, "It's not going to happen to me." But that's just setting themselves up later in life. Because "it" -- diseases, illnesses, tragedies -- can happen to anyone. This is why it is important that we take steps to prevent illnesses while we are still young.
Health experts say that the number of people with heart disease is on an upward trend, and millions of Americans are developing heart disease, strokes, and other cardiovascular diseases. What can we do so our heart remains healthy as we age?

Medication cannot cure anxiety, and the only way to lead an almost normal life is by putting up with the condition or controlling it. Resisting is not the same thing with overcoming anxiety. People who try to live with it will normally feel extremely unhappy, will lose energy and eventually become depressed because of the inability to stop worrying. Fortunately, one can recover from this miserable condition at least partly, which could often represent a significant improvement of the entire life and health. Consider the following ideas in your fight for overcoming anxiety.
Without control over the thoughts, anxiety becomes more intense, and climax of anxiety climbs with the strength of the negative thoughts. Learning some form of mind control is the first way of overcoming anxiety. Sometimes, complementary therapies that teach relaxation and meditation will also teach you how to manage emotions and feelings with a certain detachment. A simple exercise is to start and end your day by considering the beautiful things that happen to you, no matter how small and insignificant they may seem.
